A Landmark Exhibition Coming to Washington, D.C.

As part of this international initiative, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of Jordan has signed an agreement with the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C. to host the international exhibition “Jordan: The Dawn of Christianity.”

The exhibition, scheduled to open in early 2027, will showcase Jordan’s remarkable Christian legacy through a collection of rare artefact and historical treasures that highlight the Kingdom’s important role in the birth and spread of Christianity.

The agreement was signed in Washington, D.C., by Jordan’s Ambassador to the United States, Dina Kawar, on behalf of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and Carlos Campo, President and CEO of the Museum of the Bible.

This prestigious exhibition will provide visitors from around the world with the opportunity to discover Jordan’s spiritual and historical importance beyond its borders, strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a leading destination for Christian pilgrimage and cultural exploration.
