Dead Sea

البحر الميت ‎, At 400 meters (1,312 ft.) below the sea level, it is one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the world and the lowest point on earth, where the salinity is 10 times more than the other seas. And this is the reason why they call it Dead Sea, because no livings can survive there. The Jordanian east coast of the Dead Sea has evolved into both religious and health and wellness tourism hub of the region. Spend the day sunbathing, swimming, or dining. Relax in the gently lapping waters and be amazed that you canít sink! Treat yourself to a soothing massage, or try the well-known healing powers of minerals from the sea's muddy floor.
